Tuition:
Beginning January 1, 2008, tuition for the 201 Workshop will be $16,000 per team of up to seven participants and includes follow-up coaching over the next year. Participants are responsible for their own hotel and travel expenses and for any long-distance fees required for post-workshop coaching calls. The 201 tuition will remain $12,000 for all organizations that register for a 201 Workshop within 12 months of attending a 101 Workshop and then attend that 201 Workshop within 18 months of the 101 Workshop.
The workshop tuition is due no later than November 4, 2008. A nonrefundable deposit of $1,000 is due within seven business days of your registration.
For any organization registering after November 4, 2008, tuition is due in full within two business days. We reserve the right to cancel your registration if we do not receive your payments by these deadlines.
No registrations will be accepted after November 25, 2008. All payments must be made by check. We do not accept credit cards.
Team Requirements:
- 201 is for teams of six to seven people from the board, staff and volunteers of a single organization that has already been using the model successfully. (Groups in the Five-Year Program should have teams of seven to eight people.)
- All of your team members must be trained at the 101 level (i.e., must be alumni of the 101 Workshop or the 101 New Team Member Intensive).
- At least three people must have attended the full two-day 101 Workshop with a team from your organization.
- The remaining four team members are required to attend either the live, in-person 101 New Team Member Intensive or the live, online 101 New Team Member Intensive.
- Your team should consist of two to three staff members; two to three board members; and two to three additional volunteers.
- One staff team member must be your CEO, Executive Director, or equivalent position; this person can't be your Team Leader.
- One development staff should also be on the team.
Team Benchmarks:
Before attending 201, the team must:
- Have had an Ask Event and submitted the Form for Success to its coach after the Ask Event.
- Have ten Multiple-Year Giving Society™ Donors.
- Have a Leadership or Challenge gift of any amount.
If your team does not meet these requirements, please talk to your Regional Representative.
Registration
Workshops are limited to twenty-two teams. A team consists of up to seven participants from the same organization (or from the same office or chapter if part of a larger organization). Teams consisting of individuals from multiple offices within a given organization are not suitable for the customization and implementation of this model. Benevon does not accept registrations from such teams.
Workshops fill up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to register early. Your deposit is nonrefundable and will officially reserve your place. Please do not register if you have any questions about your ability to attend and participate fully in the workshop. Given the limited number of participants, we ask that only people who are serious about implementing the Benevon Model consider applying.
Hotel Reservations
We have reserved a limited number of guest rooms for participants at the Regal Sun Resort under "Benevon". Room rates are $159 plus tax per room for single or double occupancy, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for booking rooms at this rate is November 3, 2008.
